Actually, my word is Persist, not resist. I thought about Resist, and it's part of the story; it rings as playing defense and aggressive defense is absolutely critical. Persist encompasses progress -- persist toward something, forward motion toward ideals. Persist encompasses grit -- it won't be a straight line, there will be setbacks, so get back up. Persist encompasses joy -- take your wins, but don't stop. And Persist encompasses hope -- unvanquished spirit. I guess we all need to find the idea (words are ideas) that motivates us.
